This Cactus Grew to 8 Meters and 22,000 Pounds
Before we talk about this cactus and its general size, we do think it's important to point out the tiny person standing underneath it. Chances are, you probably didn't even notice someone was standing there - which proves just how big this plant really is. Somehow, people in the late 1800s were able to figure out the weight of this cactus, and they determined that it was close to ten metric tons.
This picture was taken in the late 1800s, so it's unlikely that this cactus is still alive today, but we're pretty happy that someone, somewhere, was able to take a picture of it.
A Cat That's Almost the Size of a Human
This typical house cat kind of resembles a striped tiger, and that's because it's very similar in size. It looks like the guy holding it is even struggling with his grip a bit when carrying it, and we don't blame him. The 440-Pound Heart of an Average Blue Whale
Compared to the heart of a blue whale, human hearts are microscopic. Whales are the biggest sea creatures, which means the organs that allow them to live and thrive are also gigantic. Because of the size of this whale heart, researchers could see incredible depth and detail that aren't precisely visible on a smaller one. Everything is enlarged to its maximum capacity, from the veins to the chambers.
Its length and width are about a hundred times bigger than most marine animals, which is why this is incredible. The whale also had to be tremendous if its heart was this big.

These Bolts Are Going to Need a Ginormous Wrench
Bolts connect two separate pieces of things, and whatever is involved in construction with these two bolts has to be massive. Together, they're about the same size as a passenger jet plane and are probably just as heavy in reality. The only thing that could turn these bolts into place would be the world's biggest wrench, which would probably have to be constructed by the same company that made these.
These bolts are enormous and might not really have any practical use unless they were made for giant ships or planes. Regardless, the craftsmanship that went into creating these is impressive.

Someone chose to ride a local bus with their pet owl, and the other passengers were just a tiny bit confused. This might be an unusual sight to see in general, but we must point out that this bird is also incredibly big. Owls can grow to be different sizes, and we're shocked by how humungous this one is. It also seems to be pretty relaxed during its journey on public transportation.
Bus rides aren't normally an owl's main form of transportation, but it seems like this one didn't understand why everyone was judging the fact that it was on one.

This adorable black and white cat happens to be even bigger than it is cute, and its owner can certainly support that fact. Before even talking about the fluffy guy's size, his dad shared a picture of a Google Earth image where you can see the big boy. The cat is so giant he could easily be mistaken for a car in this image without anyone even realizing it's an animal.
Cats might come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but not many of them can actually be seen in a satellite picture that was taken from super high up.
Human Head Versus Cane Corso Head
The person that took this picture was cuddling with their dog when they realized it would be a perfect time to show the world how giant a Cane Corso is. They're one of the largest breeds whose muscle mass and paw sizes outgrow those of other dogs. Next to its owner, it looks like this dog's head is enormous, but that doesn't stop it from wanting a cuddle with its dad.

The World's Largest Log Cabin Was in Portland, Oregon
The trees that produced these logs had to be gigantic since they were used to build a log cabin that could fit a giant inside. It was made in 1905, which means that a ton of workforce and time went into the creative process since the technology wasn't as developed as it is today. The height and thickness of the building are so prominent that it's like a work of art.
The two kids standing on the side of the building might be tiny humans, but even when adults stand by the log cabin in the second photo, they still look small in comparison.

Even though it was bigger than the average puppy, this wolf-dog started pretty small, yet it turned into a four-legged giant after two years of growth. We may not recommend a wolf-dog as a pet due to its dangerously enormous size, but it is a fantastic creature to look at from a distance. From those bright orange eyes to its tail, it's almost like it came out of a sci-fi movie.
Wolf dogs are actually one of the world's biggest breeds, and if you couldn't tell by their name and the picture, they really are a direct descendant of the wolf.
Aerial Photography Has Come a Long Way Since World War II
Looking at this picture makes you realize just how much technology has advanced. For example, cameras today are highly portable; we can carry them around in our pockets all day. That wasn't possible during the second world war, so the army had to use an enormous one to take pictures from above. As you can see, it was so big that the soldier had to use his entire body to lift it from the ground.
This camera is so large it could probably also be used as a weapon of war just because of its size. Thankfully, it wasn't used for combat and solely took pictures.
"Guess We'll Be Eating Lettuce Salads All Year"
The number of salads this lettuce head could be a part of is infinite. Not only is it huge, but it's also flawless; we seriously can't find a single imperfection in this vegetable. If you didn't think that lettuce could be any bigger, we're guessing you've changed your mind. Whoever named this horse Zeus did a great job when it came to choosing it, for obvious reasons. Zeus is so big that he almost looks unreal, especially in this picture. He's so large that it was practically impossible to fit him into the photo's frame, which explains why they could only capture his head. Yet we don't even need to see the rest of his body to get the point.
Horses are big animals in general, but Zeus lives up to his name in terms of his size. The average man standing next to him looks like a dot compared to Zeus.
The World's Biggest Bundle of Grapes
There's no denying that this enormous cluster of grapes will make your mouth water before you take out your phone to snap a picture. Unfortunately, they weren't grown for eating and are made for drinking, but that doesn't make them any less awesome. We're not sure how this happened, but it seems like whoever planted these certainly got lucky and probably didn't expect the end result to look so cool.
This giant cluster of wine grapes is likely growing at a winery, and we're guessing that the owner of this place is very pleased with how much their vines have fruited.
Meet the "Grizzly Giant" Tree
This awesome picture was taken back in 1900, and soldiers from the United States Army are standing in front of the tree, serving as a good size comparison. The Grizzly Giant is enormous and also endangered, but thankfully, it still stands today in an American national park where it continues to live and grow. And it's just as big as it was way back in 1900 when this picture was taken.
The Grizzly Giant certainly lives up to its' name mainly because the soldiers and their horses look microscopic compared to what their standing in front of.

This cute kitten has some massive paws, but it's not only because it will grow into a giant cat. It was born with quite a few extra toes on each foot, which explains the enormous size of those feet. Those precious toes are one of the most adorable parts of a cat, so this kitten gets a hundred extra cuteness points just for being born this special and unique.
Needless to say, this is one very special kitten for many reasons. It seems like even its veterinarian was pretty impressed with how unique those paws are.

We wouldn't be surprised if someone told us that this was one of the biggest plants on the planet. It's called an Elephant Ears plant and is monstrous in height and width. It's so big that the guy standing next to it looks smaller than just one of its leaves! If you ask us, someone might've gotten confused - this looks more like a tree than a regular house plant.
Although it's likely unable to fit inside an average-sized house, this awesome Elephant Ears plant is an absolutely gorgeous unit.
A Cat That Never Skips Arm Day
Apparently, cats can be both fit and strong, and it seems like they're pretty muscular under all that fur. Either that or this specific cat is just more special than all the rest. The fact that his owner dressed him in a tank top also makes this picture ten times better than it would have been otherwise. It seems to be innocently enjoying its snack, but we all know this guy could do some damage.
One thing is sure- we wouldn't want to get into a fight with this cat anytime soon because, based on those muscles, it looks like it could throw some serious punches.
Giant Crow Makes an Average Banana Look Tiny
Black crows are one of the smallest ones, making this large bird even more unique. It's so big that it makes the large banana next to it look tiny. It's also friends with a human and was visiting them when the human snapped this incredible photo that perfectly depicts the actual size of this bird. We're glad whoever took it was generous enough to share it with the rest of us.
Not only is this crow big, but it also chooses to bring a human a gift every once in a while. On this day, the bird decided to go with a banana.
He Caught The Chunkiest Fish in the Lake
After a long day of fishing, this man is holding up his catch of the day with pure pride, which requires a ton of strength. That's because this carp is so big that it almost looks like it's a creature from a faraway planet as opposed to one that naturally grew in a local lake. Due to its size, the fisherman struggled to securely hold the giant with his two hands.
Carps are common fish that tend to live and grow inside lakes, which means they are generally small to medium-sized, and this one seems to be the queen of the lake based on size alone.

The man, the myth, the legend: Mike Tyson, also known as Iron Mike, is an unforgettable icon. It's wild how big mother nature makes some trees. Because of that, humans had to keep up if we wanted to make the most of nature's resources. And so, to cut down giant trees, humans made this two-person hand saw. This was before electricity and chainsaws, so this terrifyingly large saw had to be carefully transported and used by workers. Personally, we wouldn't want to get anywhere near this monstrous tool.

This military plane, called the Lockheed C5 Galaxy, can carry up to seventy soldiers while flying, but due to its size, it isn't exactly invisible in the sky. It's primarily used for military training as well as in combat, but what's impressive about it is its dimensions. The rest of the planes in the airport can't even be compared to the Lockheed and are just about a third of the size.
The plane is so big that it looks like this picture was edited in Photoshop. A regular military jet plane isn't tiny, but it becomes microscopic as it sits next to the Lockheed.

This horse weighs 3,200 pounds, and because of its size, it was used for professional sports like racing. This incredible beast is one of the biggest horses we've ever seen, so we wouldn't be surprised to hear that it won quite a few awards. The average man is nothing compared to the size of this animal, where the height and width of its neck are even bigger than two people combined.
Sometimes animals are of average size. Other times they happen to be abnormally large, just like this one, which is just about ten times the size of any other horse.
When Life Gives You a Giant Lemon, Make a Ton of Lemonade
We want this lemon tree in our backyard, and you probably think the same. From water to juice, lemon is one of the best additives and can make anything taste ten times better. The fact that this one is supersized is amazing. There's no way to know why this tree decided to produce one of the world's most enormous lemons, but we are glad that we're here to see it.
Two hands are certainly needed to hold this giant thing, and based on its general size; the singular lemon will likely be able to make a year's worth of lemonade.
Mother Nature Went All Out With This Caterpillar
The creature you're looking at is a blue caterpillar, but it's so big because it's taking its time before turning into a butterfly. This guy's owner says he's swamped eating most of the day, which is why he hasn't spent any time building a cacoon or doing other caterpillar duties. Due to the amount of food this bug is munching on, he's also grown to a pretty unusual and impressive size.

A 65-Foot-Deep Crack in a Utah Park
The giant crack you're looking at exists in one of Utah's top-rated national parks. It's entirely natural, and there is about a sixty-five-foot fall of pure darkness until reaching the bottom. Since it's a highly visited tourist area, there are probably many items and objects at the bottom instead of anything special. It's located in a place called Canyonlands, and people travel across the country to come to see this entirely natural phenomenon.
This fissure looks just as scary as it is dangerous, but that probably doesn't stop an adventurous person from at least attempting to see what's going on at the bottom of it.
This 900 Kg Sea Lion Sank Boats
Freya, the sea lion, was resting on a boat before her picture made the local news. That's because her weight was sinking boats in the marina, and the locals weren't happy about it. Freya, of course, didn't realize that she was doing anything wrong and was enjoying her nap time. Her 900kg weight was just too much for her bed of choice, which is why things started to become problematic.
This sea lion was tired and wanted a place to rest; all those boats just happened to be in the way, which is why she decided to lay on one of them.
This Penguin Must Be a Body Builder
This king penguin is larger than most, and that's because it's incredibly fluffy, which comes with its benefits. For example, this guy likely has no issue with keeping warm in the Winter. It also makes him a million times more photogenic than the rest of the penguins that are there. Although, he probably doesn't realize that he's special and seems to be enjoying life with all of those extra layers.
Penguins aren't necessarily very big creatures, but the incredible fluff that this one was born with really makes it three times more prominent and also cuter than any normal one.
A Carrot Lover's Dream Come True
The person who grew this carrot had to place a ruler next to it just to prove how big the vegetable was. It's probably one of the biggest carrots to go viral on the internet, mainly because home-grown ones are never this big. This one could definitely work well in about a million different kinds of dishes. While also lasting way longer than any average-sized vegetable- and hopefully, it tastes pretty good, too.
Some people just can't get enough of carrots, especially since they practically go well with anything edible. Of course, we're pretty positive that rabbits would also agree with that statement.
Not Something You Want to Encounter
If tigers weren't scary enough, what you're looking at happens to be a mega-sized one, and it's a real thing. Based on its general build, a size comparison isn't needed to understand just how giant this tiger is. What makes matters a bit more scary is that it doesn't seem too happy in this picture, so we do really hope the photographer was standing very far away from this creature.
This tiger looks like it could easily eat another tiger for breakfast, which is why we're glad we're not currently in the jungle or wherever where this monster is living.
Before Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, We Had These Overwhelming Wires
It's hard even to conceptualize the fact that what's pictured here is an enormous bundle of individual wiring. There have to be hundreds of thousands of them that have been squeezed into one giant block for an unknown reason. We'll never know why these are here and what they're for, but we do hope that nobody ever had to go there to do some maintenance on this very complicated and confusing electrical system.
We're getting a headache just by looking at this picture, while you are likely wondering what kind of system works with this much wiring. Hopefully, they switched to Bluetooth as technology advanced.
This Man Is 5'9" Tall
There seem to be many more negative aspects to having a car that's almost six feet tall since most are way shorter than that. Driving through underpasses or bridges could be super tricky, but the owner of this vehicle likely has some pride when it comes to their very unique ride. If pickup trucks weren't big enough, they chose to put the world's most oversized wheels onto this one just for fun.
The only way the height of this car would be practical is if the person who drives is also really tall. Other than that, there isn't much point to the vehicle.
You Been Hitting the Gym, Strawberry?
The strawberry that made its way into this box seemed to have gotten overexcited as it grew, which might be why it turned out to be super-sized. It looks like six strawberries fused into one, which isn't common and likely tastes way more delicious than a single strawberry. Whoever came across this giant fruit felt like they had to share their unique find with the internet, and we genuinely get why.
There isn't anything better than a big tasty strawberry, so we do hope that the person who found this giant one chose to take the entire box home with them.
These Bullfrogs Didn't Come to Play Around
The frogs sitting on this man's lap seem to be pretty content with their lives, based don't the fact that half of them are almost asleep. They might seem to be calm and collected, but what's impressive about these frogs is their size. They're called African Bull Frogs and earned that name because they can grow much larger than most frog species. To some, that might be horrifying, but to this guy, he seems to love his slimy pets.
If you're not a fan of frogs, then you probably aren't able to even fathom the fact that some species can really grow up to be as big as these.

This snake was either born special or just ate the world's biggest meal before its photo shoot; either way, it's massive. It was spotted by someone who was passing by, and the person couldn't help but take a picture of it, but you can see why. We certainly didn't know snakes could be this huge, but this can happen. Nature seriously works some pretty weird wonders every once in a while.
The only thing we can tell you about this snake is that it will surely have issues doing everyday snake things. For example, crawling in and out of small spaces.
If You Think Big Macs Are Large Now, Wait Till You See the Original...
If you didn't think Big Mac hamburgers could be bigger, there was a time when they were double the size. This was when McDonald's first started, and they wanted to sell as many burgers as possible. To do this, the company made sure to make Big Macs big, and it turned out that they were super successful. Since then, the burger has shrunk to the one we all know and love today.
Big Macs from McDonald's may not live up to their name today, but at least they still taste just as good as they did back in the early to mid-70s.
The Biggest Squeegee We've Ever Seen
It looks like no tall window went untouched on cleaning day at this campus of Illinois State University. A student there snapped this picture as a worker was using a very tall window brush to get those high windows as clean as ever. This doesn't look like an easy task, and we're pretty sure that keeping that brush stable and controlling the water flow is more challenging than actually cleaning the windows.

This Gumball Machine Is Almost 6 Feet Tall
Gumball machines are super fun for kids, so this supermarket put a giant one inside their store. Not only does it look cool, it probably attracts many extra customers who likely come in just to look at the giant machine. It's about a hundred times bigger than the average one, which is actually pretty tiny since there isn't exactly a practical reason for it to be giant. Of course, it's all about the look, and this one is pretty fantastic.
This photographer thought it was a good idea to use their teenage son for scale, and since he's just about 5 foot 6, so this proves just how tall the machine really is.
A South American Snake The Size Of An 18-Wheeler
We should probably be happy that this monster snake dined mainly on fish. They must have been pretty massive fish though, perhaps even ones that are elsewhere in this very article. Nonetheless, it's enough to make your skin crawl knowing that these gigantic creatures were out there living somewhere, and somehow even worse that they could be hiding in the murky depths of streams and rivers, just waiting for us to dip our toes in.
The one consolation is that this specific species, Titanoboa, is said to be extinct. The bad news is there's no way to prove that something is extinct, we just have to assume since it hasn't been seen. But remember how they lurk at the bottom of muddy rivers and streams? Watch your toes...
